ahoghil?

that's one of those places i've heard of because of the hilarious name, but never actually been. Isn't it like a hole in the hedge?

EDIT: you english guys on this forum should try pronouncing it...   8)

Great White are awesome - one of my faves of all time
MArk Kendall is so tasteful and JAck Russell  has a great voice

Their Led Zep covers are killer

Dave: i've never been there either, but yeah, i can imagine tourists trying to ask for directions to it! :)

Feline:  yeah, when i saw them live i just watched Kendall all night!  and Jack Russell may have a daft name, but he's a hell of a singer.  i managed to get all their early albums by mail order through a tiny ad in the back of Kerrang!, in the days before the internet.  their more recent Led Zep cover album is good fun, although maybe a bit too accurate

i actually had an unlabelled cassette copy of a Kingdom Come album and thought it was Great White for years!  Lenny Wolf's voice is very similar

One album my ex-wife never got tired of subjecting me to was "Social Intercourse" by Smashed Gladys. Sometimes I still hear it in my sleep and wake up clammy and shuddering...

Ah, for the days when silver-and-red snakeskin spandex was considered appropriate clubwear. :)
