it will have been done for weight - that body is mahoosive. and it basically measn they drilled random holes before putting the top on, not that there is anything wrong with that, but lets call a spade a spade
I was reading about the Minarik models in the
Guitar World Buyer's Guide last week. They say the Manta's body is "
a beehive of chambers, tuned to make the largest tonal rainbow imaginable". And on the Inferno model, "
each individual flame tongue is designed to produce a certain frequency response".
I take it all with a very large pinch of salt, but their guitars look like fine pieces of workmanship (and imagination), if nothing else.
The one which really made me laugh is the Trinity, which has "
the unique honour of being the only guitar in the world featuring quadruple-cutaway construction". Yeah, why did no-one think of that before, the crazy fools? :lol:
