aaah
cool.
i just wondered, cos i doubt its just Krank that do that, putting the names of dead musicians on gear they've never played.
I tried to look at the Stein Jr and thought i could make out his sig on the panel, and ive seen the video of him playing an amp @ krank while its being tweaked. so if thats the prototype then whatever. Even if its done through his family, he never played the Jr version of the krankenstein. I just wonder what he would have thought of it, if he would have put his name to it if he was alive... or if any other dead musician would do the same if they were alive. Krank likes making money on sig lines too i guess. just like marshall.
in that video... i THINK there is a part where dime says something like he never thought he could get the high gain tone he used to get from solid state amps out of a tube amp. that he thought tube amps where all... a bit softer... thats not a quote, i think it was the general point he was making... that actually shocked me a bit. I think really high gain tube amps still have better tone that solid state amps doing a similar thing. which made me think... although dime was a rad player, just how much DID he know about his amps, and other amps on the market... you know? he went a while using the same stuff. if it aint broke don't fix it. so seeing that video of him was a bit strange
