Tonight I had a lovely vegetarian cannelloni with a fresh green salad. Beautiful.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Pasta with spicy tomato sauce (home grown chilli, just the 1, was enough to spice enough sauce for 4 people... they seem to get hotter the longer they've been in the freezer!)

nothing good tonight - just half a pizza before heading to the burton beer festival

last saturday i had a 18 oz rib steak before heading out  for beer.  i think i am good at cooking steak but this thing was a beauty.  i was saving it for the evening but got invited to a poker game and had i for lunch just so i didnt have to share it later.

i am currenty enjoying cookinga simple bacony pasta with masses of cheese sauce and lots of onions and garlic.  its a cheap meal i can cook in 10 minutes and always seems rather indulgent - perfick

A risotto with spring greens, garlic, ricotta, basil and toasted pine nuts.  The whole process was assisted by a lot of red wine:  I was cooking Keith Floyd style tonight.

I went to Brasserie Blanc and had smoked ham hock terrine, followed by slow cooked beef with mashed potato and braised veg, and finished with a plum crumble with vanilla ice cream. All very yummy, and only £15 with wine!  :D

I am ashamed to say that Saturday was so busy that I had no time to cook and so unknown to Mrs 38th, I sneaked a bag of chips and told her I'd get something at the venue.

Does that mean you're going to change your username to JCB?  :)
