Sausages with onion, peppers, tomato and mushroom, covered and cooked in the oven, with homemade potato wedge things. It smells so good, but isnt cooked yet :(

wow, now that makes me hungry!
Rise above the crowds
Wade through toxic clouds
Breach the outer sphere
The edge of all our fears

Off to the Chinese tonight.  We had a good tradition around here of converting half of a pub into either a chinese or an indian and leaving the other half as a pub.

Chicken with Chilli and Salt and a few pints of Broadside - lovely.  Best Chinese I've ever been to.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Where is round here and what is the name of the Chinese?

There used to be one near(ish) me called Wok this Way.
I think I hate being indecisive.

The pub is called the Sharnford Arms in ...... errrr...... Sharnford, Leicestershire

Absolutely lovely.  I think we must have about 8 pubs with either a chinese or an indian within about a three mile radius.  It's hard having a pint and being able to smell curry, makes you well hungry.

After a 300+ mile round trip to Derby I really didn't want to cook. I walked in the front door and there was a Vegetarian Tagine with Cous Cous waiting for me. Very nice.

You ate a full meal when you had a new strat to play?
Well done. I'd have just had Mars bars in the car.

I find the irrelevant theme of a food thread on a guitar website amusing.
So to ensure I stay on topic:
I had a chilli, tomato, chicken, and pasta thing.

I was starving Matt - had a bag of Doritos (cool original, the best) in the car, didn't really fill me up

Maybe I'm getting old but on the way back I didn't listen to any music. I had a mixture of Radio 2 and Radio 4 on and found it entertaining enough for the whole journey!

Tonight I called in at my Mum's and had salmon with hollandaise sauce...

Yeah -we found those about a month ago in Sainsburys. Saturday lunchtimes haven't been the same since. And it gives me an excuse to buy some hotdog mustard as well. Hotdogs + fried onions + roll + mustard = satisfaction personified.

If you think you're getting old then Christ I wonder what's wrong with me. Sometimes I go days without actually listening to music of any sort (apart from now cause I walk to Uni etc.)

I've been making corn beef, beef, cheese and lettuce sandwichs these past few days, really nice after the cheese has melted.
"Would you like some lemon oil?"
"Oh, no thanks, I don't eat fruit."

You could have come down for the chinese.  I'm not too far from Derby.

Had a fish finger sandwich last night as I just couldn't be arsed.

One of my fairly arbitrary curries. It resembles a saag, having spinach in it.
