There was actually a time in my teens, where I thought that Rosewood would actually be gained from gigantic rose bushes. Until I learned that it's English for the German "Palisander"

i like how strats looks but i just cant imagine playing one. i think im too fat for the strat.

I liked the sound of that particular Phil X rosewood neck Strat, but I could never buy anything like it.  This one looks awful to me, and I don't like the rosewood Tele either.

Plus I bet it weighs a TON!
