and a Happy New Year!!!

Seriously this board is the best! Just large enough so their is always new posts and topics going on, but just small enough so we all sorta know each other and the regular posters have their own identity!

Its not like I'm the resident Muse fan-boy or anything  :P

Will be taking the family to see Avatar for Christmas so hope you all enjoy as well!

Yeah, merry Christmas guys.  I too have eaten much cheese, which is without a doubt the true meaning of Christmas!

Yeah, Merry Christmas folks.

This is a fine, fine forum... much peace and love to all involved... :D

And to keep up the cheese motif: yesterday was meat-overload... today is the "day of cheese" in this household (hope my stomach recovers)

Merry Xmas

For xmas din dins I made a rather nice curry, while making an absolute mess of the kitchen at the same time

Andy I hope you limited yourself to 100 grams of cheese, can't be over doing saturated fat ;)

Cheesmas?

I have eaten quite a bit of blacksticks blue and other random blue cheeses. Not much left to get through now before the new year!
I think I hate being indecisive.

Not a great christmas, finally feel okay again after missing most of it through a virus that made me chuck everything up and stray in bed shivering. The poor missus who loves Christmas was in bed all Chrismas day while I was at the in laws with the kids (Where I started to come down with it).

So now we are having another Christmas day tomorrow, so bring on the cheese!!!!

I'm reading about cheese again... new girlfriend loves the stuff and so my curiosity grew and so I nerdified cheese which is a bad addition to my nerdification of eating healthy

I have made the following discovers if anyone is interested:

strong cheddar isn't good for home made pizza, but mozzarella is so I'll be getting some soon :D

supermarket brands of lighter versions of English cheeses have half the saturated fat of the normal stuff, unlike most "lighter" food that have other added badnesses the only thing these lighter cheeses have is more protein!!! :D aka you can eat more of the stuff ;)

mozzarella has half the saturated fat of cheddar, but only a slightly less amount of calcium

... have we had a fully fledged cheese thread yet?  If not, surely it's time...

I had a throat infection from the week before Christmas till around boxing day. I was on anti-biotics for a week so only had a beer yesterday.

I had a great one. Went to my neighbours last night, got drunk, played table tennis and ate lots of cheese.
