Lets not forget Billy Idol!
After all, with a Rebel Yell, she cried more more more ...

+2 for Cinderella & Scorpions
We've missed off Journey and Mr Big too :-)

Edit: Also - The Cult!

dave_mc did.  But no harm in repetition.... only Eat 'Em and Smile though, I don't think the later ones were as good.

Nah, I thought it was OK, but a disappointment.  Then when Vai left it got worse.

Oh, and Enuff Z'nuff had some decent songs too...

Oh god, how did I forget Enuff Z'Nuff?  One of my favourite bands, I have every single one of their albums.

Love/Hate, now we're talking - I used to go mad for that band...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_JylOn4IvM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYmOdKMjNao&feature=related

I was rodieing for a mate's band who supported them at the Marquee on NYE sometime in the early 90s. I can't remember the correct year as I was $%&#ed.

I do remember the singer from my mate's band getting a gobble of his orange skinned other half on the stairs heading down to the dressing room. I believe he dumped her after giving her some facial decoration, classy.

Love/hate wanted to play at around midnight, which meant we were working quite a bit earlier so we were out of it by the new year. I also believe I may have called someone from Kerrang a w**ker and told him porkies about the band which the tw@t subsequently published. He did have a massive piece of hash though. Oh happy days...

Just a gigolo was a great cover of the song by Louis Prima. He was the voice of Louie the monkey in the jungle book!

This thread makes me feel old after reading about all those bands form the 80s.

I especially enjoyed the Dave Lee Roth solo album " Little Aint Enough " with Jason Becker on guitar. Other staples of my diet being the 1986 'Whitesnake' album, Van Halen's "1984"  - and occasionally Skid Row's  "Slave To The Grind' .  Diamond Dave was the most entertaining character at the time.

+1

They had quite a Beatles influence
Fond memories of seeing them at the Camden underworld back in '93 - reunited with DErek Frigo on lead guitar (whose hair always looks like it's been dropped onto him from a great height and hasn't landed straight)
Was the first time I saw a Dual rectifier amplifier (and it was used for rock not metal too!) and it sounded really good

Probably because none of it was actually attached to his head!

RIP Derek, I think the band were always at their best with him on guitar.

Frigo was an awesome player. There's a great version of the reunion playing at the Key Club on Donnies DVD. He wailed-what a waste. Theres actually a really funny mini documentary on you tube with some of the ex members bitching about Chip and Donnie. Here's part 1

They're actually playing in at the Underworld with Faster Pussycat on Monday. I was going to go, but looking at some of the recent vids on You Tube I dont think i could bear to see them these days. I think it would ruin them for me!
