Congratulations. I hope you get what you're looking for out of it.

what's a BIMM?
Rise above the crowds
Wade through toxic clouds
Breach the outer sphere
The edge of all our fears

Intitute of Modern Music.

(B stands for Brighton/Bristol, depending on which branch you're working at.).

It'll be a good opportunity to finally hook up with some musicians who honestly give a shite about what they're doing.

I'm at Bristol too on the Professional Diploma.
Maybe we could have a jam sometime (at least it would give me a reason to get out the Maverick again as I've been playing my Signature LP copy almost exclusively since I got it.).

Sure thing mate, if you have any questions about the place feel free to ask. I'll be on the 3rd year of the BA course when you start btw.

What's the degree you're awarded at the end of your studies, out of interest?

Depends upon how far I intend to go.
The highest award is a doctorate at four years of study and after the first I should receive a Diploma (equivalent to 1st year of a degree), so long as I do adequately well across the boards of study and don't get thrown out for some reason (though I should stress I very much doubt it should come to that).

Second and third year studies are listed as 'BA (hons) 2+3' but I'm not entirely sure what that means besides just being different parts of the degree course.
