It will indeed be Brazilian rosewood, and the neck and body will be Honduran mahogany.
The body looks to have had some overspray too, but I wouldn't be too worried about that.
All the pre-64/65 Gibsons I've played have generally had great necks (Gibson went to a slimmer neck in 64/65), and SGs from that era are killer.
Vintage guitar prices have been a bit wobbly over the last year or so.
There are now a lot of guitars coming out of the woodwork, especially guitars with issues like this one, which would be of no interest to a collector, but obviously of considerable interest to a player!!
The price looks good, I'll be interested to see what you think about it.
