Used Matamp 1x12 would be the best option then, if you can find one....

the default 150w speaker in the marshall 1912 leaves alot to be desired. The cab is decently made so you can swap it out though.

my 1x12 suggestion is a mesa boogie theile, a stack of 2 of those gives more spread than a 4x12

Thanks for all the help and suggestions fella's but I went off at a tangent and bought a 1 x 12 combo for reasons stated in my other thread. So a new cab for the JTM45 is on hold for now, but will happen in the future! Cheers guys  :)
