I've recently played this quite a lot, and would like to be able to afford it quite a lot.

That is a nice Trussart. Would love to have it off with one of those.

I tried to contact Doug a couple of times on the email address from the blackmachine homepage but I always get it back with a"undelivered" error message. Does anyone know what's going on? :(

Ive sold or traded alot and my gas goes back to gibson sg std in cherry and gibson white flying V loaded with a miracle man set :drools:.

Id also need to save up for some great all rounder amp and cab, maybe a diezel einstein or a dual rectifier with a orange cab. pretty solid, weird look and handles detuned stuff very well.

seems a bit odd mentioning jeff buckley in a GAS thread - the guy didn't give a damn about gear, apparently he didnt even own a guitar.  the tele was a long term loan from a friend

Indeed - I know he wasn't much of a gear man, the toal opposite of quite a few on this forum. Just the sound of the tele on that CD is lovely enough to induce GAS!

I'll have that stuff sent back to you shortly. Been busy with work over the last few weeks, easing up now so I should be able to get started soonish!

He owned a LP Custom that was his favourite guitar, but liked it too much to play, according to his mum.

OK, I'll play:

Definites (i.e. I know exactly what I want to buy & am actively searching for it)
MXR M148 & M152 reissue pedals
Boss DC-2 (check ebay daily, missed out on an auction two weeks ago :()
Set of power valves for Marshall (just waiting on replies to a few emails trying to get someone to rebias it)

Probables (i.e. things I want but haven't made a final decision on the exact product)
Multi-channel valve preamp (probably an Egnater M4 with BMAN, SL, EG5 & RECTO modules)
Feline superstrat (need to chat with Jonathan about specs/pricing)
4x12" or my Marshall (undecided on make & speakers)

Possibles (i.e. where I've thought "that would be nice" but realistically are unlikely to happen soon)
PC with recording interface & all the software
Custom UK-built valve head
Nylon-strung/classical

Dreamland (i.e. no more than an idle thought :))
Several US Jacksons, Deans, Bernie Rico Jrs, Taylors etc etc
Some more Engls: a spare Savage, a Fireball 100, a Morse, SE etc
A new house to hold it all... :)
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

A Mac Pro, lots and lots of software and a Axefx to record with.
I shall get it all soon as i have the money now. Then hopefully i can get more out of the midi capability's of my Feline custom as i got all that put in with recording in mind really. (I did use it in the studio with various non guitar tones but I missed playing electric guitar in a studio situation.)

Guitar wise I've been gassing a long time now for a 335 style with Stormys, a vintage white strat with either Mothers Milks or Apaches. Plus something with P90s in, like a decent gold top copy.

Amp wise I'm still cool with my Koch!
