Cheers guys.

HTH, pm me an address and I'll punt you a cd down if you want?

I agree with Philly. Music critics are a hard bunch to please at the best of times. I'm sure the the music you're into has plenty of hard to please critics having to wade through lots of music that doesn't cut the mustard for them. It does sound from reading  that, that you and your mate from Sheffield could be onto something big. I wish you all the luck in the world. I remember a piece of advise that the guitarist John5 gave in an interview around 5 years ago. Something like, do something everyday to make it happen, a phone call, letter, email to the right sort of people. I'm not sure if that's obsolete now, given the way the music industry has been revolutionised but it makes good business sense.
Put yourself about and get some gigs!

A little news, if it interests anyone:

Quote
FETO Records are proud to announce the addition of CHRONOCIDE to their roster.

Chronocide, a two-piece British band who describe themselves as “blackened apocalyptic grind metal”, will have their debut album “The Solitude of Man” released digitally through FETO Records in autumn 2010. Influences range from Pig Destroyer to Amebix, and much of the past year has been dedicated to fine tuning their very first assault of the senses. Mastering duties came courtesy of FETO’s very own Mick Kenney.

“The Solitude of Man” will be available via iTunes and also as a physical release (date to be confirmed).

FETO RECORDS is owned and run by Shane Embury (Napalm Death) and Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh); other releases include Anaal Nathrakh, Mistress, Cripple bar-stewards, and Lock Up.

Then there's a wee album cover photie, too.

Get that for cheerful!

Few new reviews, pretty positive, which is nice, if only folks would fling me a couple extra quid

A brilliant debut full-length from the Scottish duo that they like to call blackened grind. Well, everything has to have a label, right? It's an accurate enough description, though, and musically this is as close to a marriage of Marduk and Anaal Nathrakh with its relentless blasts, searing vocals and a caustic mix at the hands of Mick Kenney. Actually, there's nothing really left to say that could describe this any better. Marduk and Nathrakh with Kenney at the helm. You know the drill. It doesn't let up for a second, and if that's the kind of brainmelt you're into, you'll absolutely love this.

You can hear me club the English language near to death (as well as CLEARLY get caught off guard by some questions, with a plethora of dead air and "erms") on a wee interview on this radio show.

Damn, I'd love to hear what all the fuss is about. But I have to wait till July that's when my internet provider will lift this silly restriction, at the moment I cannot do anything that's considered to be heavy usage, unfortunetly your music tracks fall under their list of no nos for the time being.

I love the fact this advert popped up when I was listening, looks like you might have a new genre name, Perforated Metal:
