I can't speak on this subject from experience but I do remember reading an article years ago that said weight lifting can affect the tendons in the hand from the pressure on the palms, and this has an adverse affect on any kind of dexterous activity such as playing musical instruments.

That's always been my excuse anyway :P

I only took up weight lifting to excuse sounding cr@p on the old Geetar.  I also feign sensitivity - and an interest in 'women's issues' to excuse not having a huge Penis.

( It's worked so far )  :lol:
