Pretty sure.  I mean to say, I'm still nowhere near as old as William Hartnell or Jon Pertwee were (when they were actually playing the Doctor).  I'm roughly of an age with Troughton, the Bakers, McCoy and even Eccleston.  I'm older than Tennant, McGann (and Davison, who was young before his time!).  But I'm a lot older than Smith.

I can imagine some of the old doctors flirting a bit with the assistants, maybe, in a randy-but-harmless-old-uncle kind of way.  But not getting romantically involved with them.

  - The new Dr Who assistant is very pretty (she reminds me of Christina Ricci), but I've finally given up on Dr Who.  I don't like the way each new Doctor gets successively younger and more hip-and-cool, and there's always this will-they-won't-they romantic element with the assistants now.  I hate to sound prudish, but I think it's inappropriate.....

Yes, the new Dr. Who assistant is very pretty - and with the kind of face that has similar qualities to those ladies  we  "Grandads"  admire from the worlds of classic film. She (hopefully ) will continue to mature into an even more striking version ;  as long as she does not get dragged into the fad of trying to be thin for the sake of being thin e.t.c.   I also find Christina Ricci to have a very compelling face, albeit  that hers has a somewhat 'otherworldly' and dangerous quality.

On the Dr.Who sideline, I  was / am , very much a William Hartnell  fan ;  as I felt his somewhat stern , enigmatic - and sagacious version was what I'd expect from the character. 

As for Philly's 'secret' predilections,  I do suspect that an investigation will ( very quickly) reveal an illicit stash of fine wines and 'Warmouth' guitar parts .  Whatever the age of the Ladies in question ,  it is  as ever  the way in which we view   - rather than what we view  ( within boundaries of  taste and reason )  that is the crux of the matter. 

That is why I liked the picture of Mary Pickford ;  for ( like Afghan Dave ) , I had been to a couple of Funerals recently , and it makes you want to look at something that is beautiful - and radiating a sense of unquenchable life.

Come to think of it, isn't there a clip (or photo) somewhere of Jimmy Savile visiting the Dr Who set for a "Fix It", with Colin Baker looking distinctly unhappy about the whole thing?

Taylor Momsen is hot but so artificial it's ugly...

Typical little bored rich girl who craves attention through faux rebellion but when the going gets tough reverts to "pretty little diva" and calls Daddy to fix it.

If she likes metal, says she's bisexual or sucks a 1000 c--ks she'd only be doing it as a statement rather than with any real intent.

Then finally, in a few years when the next younger prettier rebel comes on the "scene" she's gonna drop the eyeliner and leather and marry a Real Estate Developer or Trust fund Jock who can take over from Daddy.

That said, if Karlie Koss lives on salad and gym then I am very impressed and I find it more attractive, regardless of what her body size may be...

A life consisting of "salad and the gym" has the common side effect of becoming joyless and dull as f**k... I don't find that attractive at all.
