bonammassa look ? I like it stock, looks classic but tasty.

Off topic I dont recommend europeans to order at musik produktiv. It was sent in a single gibson cardbordbox with the minimum of packing around. Plus it has a nice scratch going long the low E all along the pickups. Hard to picture out due to the gold finish but its still there.  :(

Yeah I complained. The calltech french guy told me they usually offer money to refund scratches or dents but I got offered some parts like straps, locks or strings. I went for a couple of my favorites ernie ball 10-52 strings. the guitar itself is a wonder but its still a shame to receive such an expensive piece of gear with such scratches.

I'm glad they gave you something.

I bought a PRS recently and it turned up with a whole cluster of scratches on the edge of the body.  When I complained they just said "oh well you got it for a big discount off the list price" - as if I should be grateful for the price they decided to sell at!

I sent it back and got a refund (although it took 3 weeks to get the money).

It was Oasis Music, Dave.  They've got good feedback on eBay but they seem to sell mostly small parts, not much in the way of actual guitars.

I don't want to slag them off too much, I'm sure most customers are happy.  But they really messed me about and even got pissy when I left neutral (not even negative!) feedback.

No!  :P

I saw some clips of Mike Campbell from the Heartbreakers playing a goldtop with transparent covers on the P-90s.  That looked weird (but better than the black!)

No!  :P

We might differ slightly over matching headstocks on strats and perhaps one two other minor matters of aesthetics, Philly, but... I am in total agreement on this...

Hunter obviously needs some help, poor chap

Yeah maybe someone needs to send me the original guitar for a few years so I can get used to the white bobbins.
