Tasty R4, what's the weight like?  Neck profile?  Tone report?

Yup, there are very few Les Pauls that'll turn my head but this one's a beauty.  Very nice indeed.

I know Tokai make a model like this one, but I'm guessing Dave's right with his Gibson custom shop knowledge (unless it is a Tokai with the knobs and truss rod cover replaced).

Or unless it's an Orville by Gibson?

I do love a wraptail!!  :D

I love Goldtops, me. Especially p90 ones. Funny, cause the one I actually own is an HB model.

Actually, I was thinking of the ( rather more conservative )  Dave Gilmour doing his album version of 'Another Brick In The Wall' ( pt2 ) on his P90'd Les Paul.   A classic solo befitting such a classic guitar.  :)

In any case, that is a lovely guitar Fr33man1 ; but a Pig90 in the bridge ?  Sacrilege !  :o

Well I'm more on the Qotsa and stoner rock/ metal vibe so dunno if i'll keep those stock gibsons but its the first time I'm not running to bkp for other pickups, the reissue electronics is top notch so I guess it helps plus the diezel does not lack anything and allows me to play about anything.

Sound wise its very powerful in terms of projection. It sends such a huge sound, like nailbombs pickups, its loud and very middy but not agressive at all. Very full sound for p90 guitar. The neck is a 50's reissue log like usual. I'd say its a bit thinner than a traditionnal les paul though but clearly a good 50's profile.

I dunno the weight in lbs but its around 4kg so not too light nor too heavy. My ex custom was about 4.7 or even more so its a great change on this point.

Some more pics ;).

It looks really nice.  I'm a big wraparound and P-90 fan.  Mine looks just like yours, but older!  They have a great sound - a bit brighter than a junior or special.  As long as you don't care about hum!
So many pickups, so little time

Tasty, very tasty. Goldtops just have class, especially with P90's. Personally I would prefer the 56 model, cause I'm not to keen on the wraparound bridge. But, a chic guitar to drool over.
