Yo!
Here be some pics and general pimpage of my Daemoness Atlantean. The guitar is being built around the theme of a Hokuto No Ken character called Souther; a sociopath with a fetish for child slavery.
It's going to have heavy inlay work on the neck as well as the face and back of the body. A mix of black line and materials is being used.
The Kanji that's going on the fretboard translates in to -
"Ai yue ni (because of love)
Hito wa kurushimaneba naran (people have to suffer)
Ai yue ni (because of love)
Hito wa kanashimaneba naran ( people have to feel sad)
ai yue ni (because of love)"
as well as the Kanji (brass) the image of Souther with the extended arms will be inlaid. 6mm red dots will be running up the board where there's no inlay. Black binding running up the neck and headstock and a maple overlay on the headstock. The truss cover is going to be ebony and is getting Southers cross motife inlaid in m.o.p.
The back of the body is getting some blacklined images of the awesome post nuclear imagery in HNK. The front of the body is getting Southers face in blackline and his 'bloody cross' attack in opaque red. The back of the guitar is going to be solid white and the front is going to be an opaque white with solid white edges kinda like a burst. The tops getting stained black and sanded back for the grain to really pop through the opaque white.
Woods are Ash and Maple. 50mm nut width with 19mm to 20mm depth and 20" radius.
Hardware is going to be Hipshot, open geared tuners and Hipshot hardtail... and gold! The frets are going to be gold too :o the pickups are Rebel Yell in the bridge and a VH2 in the neck with black covers.
So, yea... totally over the top and totally $%&#ing awesome :D
