Hi James,  the Florentine might sound good with Mules.  I have them in 2 semi hollow guitars, one has A4's (my 60's 335), and the other has A2's (a Raven West PRS hollowbody copy).   If the Florentine is a bit bright (the ones I tried at NAMM were), then the A2's help tame it a bit, though with the A4's in the 335, I can get the Clapton Cream Crossroads tone.
So many pickups, so little time

i would say its worth considering a manhattan for the florentine - maybe in the neck with a mule in bridge.  especially since you like p-90's so much

that silverburst BFG looks better than i expected  it would!

That's a great one pickup standard.   I always think that they should have put the controls in line, like a junior though.  I do have a few guitars with BK's!

Agreed wholeheartedly, with both comments.

But I do love the look of that guitar, and the "LP Custom" version in black with gold hardware.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM
