Yep, shock of all horrors, I've stripped down the stable to my absolute bare minimum. No excess flab, all the extra fat has been completely trimmed and I'm now super lean. Thought some folks might be interested to see what's been kept, and it's also my duty to put PhillyQ to shame
I'm actually really glad I've come down from a high of 28(!) at one point, and gone for quality over quantity. It's been really therapeutic and I've ended up with some absolutely amazing guitars. I almost sold a couple of the ones below recently, but common sense (or a stern word from Mrs Twinfan!) prevailed. I think I have a nice range of tones to call on, and I feel very fortunate that I have such a great collection and a very understanding wife 8)
Before Fernando shouts at me, this thread is worthless without pics right? ;)
First up, the working guitars:
PRS McCarty Korina with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and BKP Emeralds(my only BKP'd guitar )
Fender Custom Shop '50s Top Bound Esquire(bought from Ian Price here on the forum and now sporting 50s pinup decals front and rear)
PRGuitars SGR Standard #001(now fitted with an uncovered DiMarzio PAF in the bridge to match the covered PAF Classic in the neck)

Then there's the special guys:
PRS Modern Eagle with solid Brazilian Rosewood neck(my go-to guitar and absolute #1)
Gibson Custom Shop '59 VOS Pearly Gates reissue("Francine", knocked down into position #2 now the honeymoon's over)
Fender Custom Shop '58 Telecaster(Mrs Twinfan's favourite - "Ruby Tuesday")

Finally my very first electric:
Fender Squier '62 JV Strat from 1983(now fitted with David White Old Glories pickups, black pickup covers, knobs and trem tip again like she was in the late 80s/early 90s, and a Callaham trem block as the original stripped)
