Yeah, Tim really doesn't like stacked single coils from what I've heard.

How about him doing covers like EMG covers which are a matte finish, rather than a glossy black finished? I think a lot of people would like that when switching from their EMGs.

So punters like me can stand in the crowd and wonder how those EMG's have started sounding good all of a sudden?

I've been dreaming about Bare Knuckle scatterwound speakers for years

I don't even know if that would make any difference, but anything from this brand just can't be average  :D

I'm with the "keep on doin what you're doin camp" as well... I'd like them to be making good business decisions for themselves so that they're still around even for my last set of pickups in x years time :D

I have to admit, though, I've no hankering after stacked singles or blades or some of the other things you guys like. I suppose, if they were doing lipsticks, I'd probably have a set in my dano by now. But how big is that market? Could they do it economically? Not so sure...

Similarly if they did "gibson-style" bass pickups, I'd be in the market for a set... just the one set, though!

Nah, I've got no real "I wish..." suggestions or desires for what they do next.

Except, mebbe, how about if they ditched the free strings and plectrum with each set of pickups... and came up with a new exciting offer... I'm thinking, how about a free guitar with each set of pickups? :o Yeah! Especially the new strat range... a CS strat with the 59 and 63 sets... I'm in! I'll have a set of each right now 8)

I am with Roo on this ( and others who have said similar). Keep to working on the existing range with the natural forays that will occur from time to time.

I'm personally interested in stacked P90's simply for their noiseless qualities. Blades are useful for big vibratos and tremolo wanking. With the Warpig (Doom) and Aftermath (Death/Djent) being the big staples, I don't see how it could hurt to have a custom option for an extra few pounds.
(The idea of a bladed HSPig 90 just popped into my head...)

I'd love to see more from BKP in the bass range- whether it be to introduce bassbuckers or just lay out some sound clips. I would imagine producing boutique products for bassists is futile (as I've never met one that gave a damn about tone aside from getting an SVT or playing with their fingers).

As far as free offers go, I'd love a free shirt over a pick and some strings I'll never use. I'm buying a boutique product, so I already have my tastes, guys.
Praise the Sunn.

The pick is just a nice touch /marketing tool , but the thinking behind a fresh set of strings is that sadly some players would instal new expensive  pickups yet be too cheap or lazy to fit new strings and maybe not hear the pickup at it's best.

We are offering the free guitar with a set of BKPs although we have to sell the BKPs for £1500+

Personally I am waiting to see the Blackhawks - from what I have heard from Tim they will be pretty different from what we have had before .
I think the only things I'd really like to see for now are maybe some mini humbuckers  and firebird pickups - seriously overlooked tone machines there.

They dont need to be every flavour - just a couple of cool versions like he has in the P90s.

An expanded bass range would be nice. Jazz and Precision pickups are fine, but my basses have soapbars :(

I'm with Feline: minihumbuckers (Firebirds, teleneckpos. etc). And: more colouroptions for singlecoils. I ordered a HSS-set with a chrome cover for the VHII, but I would be awesome to have the sc's in chrome too. Or with a nickel cover. Now they're white. But, that's a detail. The sound is the most important.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

I'd like them to do a 'Signature Tone' series. Kind of like pickups designed to catch the vibe of famous players. I think a lot of players would buy them.

Isn't that what they are already doing - see Rebel Yells and Crawlers?
And what about the others - most names come from songs, so you can draw the conclusion as to which signature stands behind it (War Pig - Tony Iommi, Miracle Man - Zakk Wylde, Holydiver - Vivian Campbell, Painkiller - Judas Priest, VHII - you all know who that is etc. etc.).

+1 on the stacked single coils. I would especially love them to do a stacked Tele model.

Cheers Stephan

The names are just to do with the vibe that Tim got when the pickup was complete.

But if he made pickups for specific tones it would be a lot more precise

Wow bro, there is a hell of a lot more to tone than just pick-ups. Even Dave Mustaine is notorious for pretty much only using Seymour Duncan JB's on their classic recordings. The JB is a very "over"-used pick-up, and I believe BKP has a model or 2 based on the JB already.
