We ended up making two of these guitars in the end
The first one which was for Andy had a pair of Mississippi Queens , but the second one pictured below has some stormy mondays and what a night and day difference there is between them
this one sounds more open and chimey in a more single coil way whilst the MQs had a fat bluesy/R&B thing going on
We chose a classic cherry sunburst for this one

The back view showing the ribcage contour in the mahogany back , which is chambered for weight and sound too - it achieves a sound somewhere between a tele thinline and a 335 when played unplugged

One of my favourite jack sockets - the electrosocket - guides the tip of the jack plug into the switchcraft jack
A great replacement upgrade for a tele style jack

Our all access neck joint works nicely here

The headstock is a tiltback design - not unlike a Gibson/PRS - no need for string trees

The headstock has a matching overlay
