anything to improve the awful SE range is worth a try but if I were you save up for another guitar. My experience with SE was bad, noisy pickups which fed back like crazy, cheap fragile neck and headstock, useless tuners, noisy cheap pots, werid scale length, bad low quality paintjob and finish which declared itself after minimal use, and God awful fixed bridge one is unable to intonate. Good luck.

But apart from that, did you like it?
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Well, if there was ever any sort of doubt if this was a primarily English forum, it's gone now.

My PRS SE Soapbar (yup it had BKP91s), was proabably my favourite sounding guitar I've ever owned. Shame I could never get comfortable with it :(

I had a SE custom 22
it was fine, except for the fake maple top (fotoflame over mahogany back without any maple veneer)

they're built exactly like schecters in the same factory
not a fan of that bridge, but never had a problem with it in both SE and original PRS guitars
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat

PG Blues set is awesome. I've got them in a Les Paul and they made the guitar so much better sounding. One thing I would say about them though is that for the middle out of phase position to be most effective, IMHO you need a guitar with two volume controls that you can use as a sort of blend pot when out of phase. With one vol pot you will always have both p/us the same vol, and they will always be completely out of phase whereas I find for the best tones you keep on p/u at max vol and back the other off a little. Others may disagree, but thats how I use them
