Bloody hell Derek, you don't mess about!  Pickup arrived, fitted and recorded on the same day?  I might just about be considering opening the box....  :P

Please can we have a picture of the guitar with the pickup fitted?

The box under your bed full of guitar parts?

Sorry to jest, I am watching this one with interest as I have often wondered if I would like something high powered.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Me too. I don't recall a thread about a Warpig that wasn't related to really high gain, monster Metal so it should prove an interesting insight into this pickup - assuming of course that it ever makes it out of the box under the bed  :D

I've got to get round to buying the pickups first, haven't even got the guitar yet!

............then they'll go in the box under the bed.

Philly... How big is your bed??! It seems as though you buy beds to put over pickups rather than for sleeping on!

Bed Criteria list:
1) Must be able to cover up 50+ guitar parts
2) Must be able to cover up 25+ sets of pickups
3) Must be Pre-assembled (philly would never assemble a whole bed, would you Philly?!)

Once you've matched all these criteria, you have found Philly Q's dream bed!

Certainly Philly,  :)

I'll get onto it later today.

The other posts above this one have given me a possible way to describe the Warpig neck pickup:

" The B.K.P. Warpig -  for a sound as thick as Philly's underbed storage - and as hot as his credit card " .

What you don't know is that Philly does actually have another bed... it's under his bed waiting to be assembled.

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark that Philly never shops at IKEA, or if he does, I imagine he doesn't sleep on a bed at all but just a collection of packed cardboard boxes!

Blimey, this thread has gone off the rails!

Just to clarify (or muddy the waters still further):

1. The space "under the bed" where I keep guitar parts is only metaphorical - I don't really keep newly-acquired guitar parts under the bed (because that space is already full of guitar parts)

2. I have shopped at Ikea, and I am fully capable of assembling a bed (although it might take a while to get round to it....)

3.  I only have one bed (but if I had another it would indeed, probably, be under the first one awaiting assembly)

Silly Philly!! He should have known that he'd never assemble it!

On a deep, subconscious level, I may know that.... but I have to have faith in my good intentions.

:) don't worry, no one is doubting your "bed-assembling" ability... Only your ability to actually get started :)

Sorry Philly. My fault entirely on the thread derail.

That guitar does look very nice indeed!
