Just finished a guitar for one of our customers.
It's one of our Tiger models - similar to a PRS Custom 22 , but with the added twist of a Piezo  pickup in the bridge (a TonePros wraparound style with Graphtech Ghost saddles)
Magnetic pickups comprise a pair of Bare Knuckle Mississippi Queen pickups in black covers through a BKP/CTS volume and tone pot with a BKP?Jensen 0.022uF capacitor
The piezo/acoustic pickup has a volume control that is also a push pull with 2 distinct voicings of acoustic sounds
the mini toggle is a acoustic/blend/electric selector.

Construction is 2 piece mahogany with a lovely flame maple cap
The neck is our favoured 3 piece quarter-sawn neck with a rosewood fingerboard (12" radius with 22 Dunlop 6155 frets)

The headstock has a maple fascia that kind of matches the body wood.

The fingerboard was bound as per customer request and the body and headstock both have faux binding by leaving the edges of the maple unstained before the paint is applied.

Sounds wise it's a real beauty - will cover a huge variety of music from country to R&B to blues and rock.
The MQs sound really sweet and the Graphtech Ghost is uncanny as a acoustic simulation.

There are also some great blended sounds using both magnetic and piezo pickups to be had.

Phoar. any clips knocking about?
It wasn't a mistake, it was chromaticism, I swear.

I'm afraid I didn't get a chance to make any - customer wanted to have it as soon as it was ready
I only had time to get some pics for my archive.

I like it a lot, especially the matching headstock!  The satin finish is nice too.  :D

One thing that always strikes me - it's a shame there isn't a way of fitting your cats-eye logo on these narrower headstocks.  I'm not so fond of the script logo (although I do like the 12th-fret inlay here).

Logos are always tricky and I seem to get it in the neck no matter what I choose to do

I am looking at an idea of having a logo in the form of a cat stretching that is made up of the word Feline
Stretching like this:

It's kind of like when the Charvel logo looked like a guitar- I always thought that was cool

Is the finish nitro? I like the matt-ness a lot also.

Mainly I have come in here to say how much I like the idea of the new logo. The charvel guitar logo is indeed very cool. On the other hand, I do think the small block logo works well on this.

The finish is a 40% matt polyurethane - comes out a nice satin finish.

A cellulose finish would still be hanging up waiting to get hard enough to flat and polish.

its come out classy. can you do something like that in a plain colour like white too? will it stay matt over the years or gradually polish up a bit?

whats it feel like on the neck? does it get sticky?

I'm assuming it would polish up from playing, but not as quickly as satin nitro - which takes about 5 minutes!

I haven't seen how it lasts but it is similar to a lot of acoustic guitars that have this finish - they do get a bit slicker over time but not shiny like cellulose would IMO
