No. Lots of them dive as a tactic. The vast majority are still guys in peak physical condition. Essentially, however much many of them fall over on a pitch, they'd still give you a pasting in the street.

It may come as a shock to those who know me that I have ever played sport, but I did once break my wrist playing rugby.  Couldn't be the hard man, ignore it and carry on regardless, though - the bones broke cleanly and my hand sort of slid back over the wrist so it looked like my arm was suddenly a few inches shorter.  People were staring like I was the Elephant Man or something.

..... and that's why I never got any good at playing the guitar!  Maybe.
