Those amps have me wanting to abuse my credit card (but I can't).

I used to have a Lionheart combo but found it a little too stiff. It was up against the Martamp Deluxe though.

I agree that the Double Six looks the most fantastic amongst all of those. Double Six > Goldstar > Lionheart > Jet City. All based on looks though - how about a shoot out
I think I hate being indecisive.

I think I prefer the Laney, looks-wise, to the Martamp's Marshall styling.  Lord knows how they compare soundwise though.

^ the laney cab sounds pretty good. those heritage g12h30s are nice. Dunno how much of that is the cab and how much is the speakers, though.

Could always pop over to Mr C's and have a go. I'd have to tool the D6 over though as it's now in it's rightful location at home.

Lionheart has a Heritage and a Gold in it. 1x12 has a Heritage (the other out of the Laney). Big 2x12 has a seriously $%&#ed (and therefore awesome sounding) V30 and a G12H.

They're all very different. All have their thing really the Jet City does the high gain stuff, the Goldstar the low vol stuff with a nice rock crunch and is mainly used for testing pedals. The Laney really has it's own thing going on. Meaty and very even sounding across the frequency range.

My D6 does cleans VERY well, better than all the above. It's not as happy as a crunch machine, the Goldstar does that side of things better. The good news with the D6 is that it loves pedals and you can get all the crunch you want from them.

Everything is looking great.  I can't wait to hear them next time I'm over.

Picked up my cab today from Martin to match the Ampmaker Double Six kit amp I built that he also did the cab for.

This amp
Nice! What is that? lol

Edit: Just looked up the amp, but the site says it is no longer available ...

Hi Ben, I did a thread on it when I built it here: https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=28563.0

It's essentially a parallel single ended 6V6 design with Baxandall tone stack. Definitely different!
