Weber speakers are generally 'stock with options', though they also offer custom speakers as well.

This is a 12A125A model. I chose the white basket, medium doping, and 30W options.

That does look very nice indeed. Ive always wanted a thinline. The '72 is the nicest looking one IMO.

Agreed.

I was also looking at 335-style guitars but they are just too big for me (I'm not a very tall/big person). The Thinline not only looks great, it has the sound I was after and weighs next to nothing for transporting round the city!

Yeah! It's perfectly vintage like. I suppose a bit of work also went into the mic positioning? I'd never imagined you could get something like that with an up close sm57

I do not agonize over mic placement, actually.

 If I don't like the sound I move it or swap mics. I don't take any special note of it,  either.

 I am more careful when multi-mic'ing, due to phase issues.

I have a pair of weber made scumback h75 speakers:  30w, 50 oz magnet, 75 hz cone, kapton voice coil (vintage celestion g12h clones)
I also have a pair of brazilian mg music black dogs, also made with weber parts: 50w, 40 oz magnet, 75 hz kurt muller cone, paper voice coil (close specs to the weber silver bell, I think)

I'd love to try their thames, 1225 and 30v models
