Here's another that's a bit better quality.

They sound rather nice! Appear to be lower output than the MQ and Black Dog that were in there before, and smoother sounding. Coil-split neck sounds heavenly, and really nice blended in with the bridge (in humbucker mode). I'll try and get some recordings done at work at some point.

Mine arrived today  8)

I was a bit concerned about the ott etching as well, but the guitar i'm putting them in is anything but subtle!

unfortunately, i'm not too sure now when i'll get them installed, as my house currently contains a 1 week old baby boy :)  he arrived a little early, and most other things have taken a back seat for now

Thanks very much Philly :)   don't want to hijack the thread, so maybe I'll "reveal" him elsewhere

Cool, a NBD! Congratulations sir!
Most important question: Does it have good tone?
Wonder how one would best imitate a baby on the guitar and if there is a application for it whatsoever. Well, now you can study the sound and find that out. =)

Anyhow...
Really looking forward to more placed pictures of these PUs and first sound impressions. The etching is pretty in your face, but it certainly can work I feel. With a LP with nicely figured maple cap with a rather natural paintjob enhancing the contrast on the figure this can especially shine I feel.
BKPs in use: 10th set / RY set / Holy Diver b, Emerald n / Crawler bridge, Slowhand mid MQ neck/ Manhattan n

Well they have arrived. They look great with the brushed nickel covers, not too 'blingy' for want of a better word so they should look fine in my plaintop.I'll post some pics when I have them fitted :D.

Yeah, mine came today from Feline!

They look amazing and the etching is much nicer in person imho.

Snapped a quick shot of them. Sorry, its not by best work and they seem green as I had leaves above so they reflext in the chrom covers.

Now I just need a guitar I can put them in...well all in due time =)

Well they work for me. :D Glad I went with the brushed nickel I think they fit well with the plaintop. I tried them today when I picked it up through a Suhr Badger 18..........oh my word what clarity, lovely cleans, also some great tones when adding some gain, a lot smoother than the Mules I had in. Sorry i'm not much help in the description side of things but I think i've said it all, I think you tell I am well chuffed with them :D. To those others lucky enough to have managed to get these if you have'nt got yours installed I guarantee you will not be dissapointed I know I wasn't. Mr. Mills if you read this another great set of pickups in my guitar thankyou, it's just a shame that not everyone will get to enjoy these.

FINALLY got my 10th Anniversary Pups installed this week after them sitting at my parents' house for months waiting for me to get back from China.  Wasn't sure which guitar to put them in but in the end chose to go with my Seth Baccus Single Cut and my god it turned out to be a good choice.  The guitar had previously got a Nailbomb/Mississippi Queen in it so quite a change.  The guitar itself is mahogany body/neck and rosewood fretboard.
I have to say that I really really like the new pups.  Nearly all of my other pickups are at the hotter end of the spectrum, but I was struck as to quite how good these sound.  Incredibly open and airy, articulate and clear.  I know that BKPs are clear, but even my Nailbomb sounded pretty compressed in comparison.  They are bright and sit really well in the Mahogany/Rosewood, not at all harsh, nicely rounded.  The neck pickup on cleans is beautiful and I have it wired in series/parallel on a push/pull tone pot for added versatility.
The bridge pup is great also, has more poke than I expected and certainly good for anything up to Hard Rock, tightens up a bit with a boost, but not what I would use for Metal really.  I spent a good hour in GnR heaven!
Looks-wise I'm impressed, I wasn't totally convinced about the engraving when I ordered, but especially with the brushed nickel now that they are installed it looks pretty subtle in most lights.
Hugely impressed, but now looking at which other guitars I can experiment with more low output BKPs!
