I'm just back from my 1st rehearsal with the guitar and it really suits my 70s Punk band.

The only thing I kept doing was turning the volume down due to the volume knob placement, but I guess I'll get used to that  :lol:

If you don't use your tone knob just rewire the thing so the Volume acts as a dummy and the Tone is the Volume. I hate knob placement that keeps me turning the signal down whilst playing as much as I hate altering the look of an axe by leaving a hole in the body, so this is how I usually solve that. Or just get used to it  :lol:

I thought of rewiring the tone knob last night, but I'll leave it for a bit and see how I get on.

I like to use tone knobs as I use various guitars with same amp settings live so I need the little variances that tone controls give.

Craig how many/which local bands have you been in over the years?  I'm sure I must have seen or at leasy heard of you playing at some point as were around the same age.
