Bare knuckle the sinner problem

Hi!, I have a marhall jcm200dsl 100 head ,I put the lead 2 channel in the maximum gain ,but the high E string is weak and poor in gain ,in the neck PU mainly.The PU is a bare knuckle the sinne(single coil) ,is a hot PU ,but this problem turned me crazy!!!! Maybe is normal in this amp ,I dont know ,Regards!!!!!

Pd: the pickups height is OK!

Something wrong obviously, possibly the amp, as in the pre amp valve (tubes).

If not, then the pickup might have been soldered in ass ways or bad quality solder point.
Get a tech to check the insides of the guitar.

Maybe a preamp tube ,But the soldering is ok ,i believe that the sinner neck  Isn't good for high gain like a bridge version.
But the really strange is that I connect my radial bones london distorion with very low gain to the amp ,(the amp only cruchy) the sound is amazing! ,low pedal gain+low amp gain=Good tone ,But Amp with maximum gain setting Isn't good on.Its crazy!!!! :shock:

i think you might have answered your own question.  the DSL will become mushy and and indistinct with the gain up full, but setting it for a crunchy tone and then using a drive or boost pedal will result in a more articulate and tighter sound.
