Hello...!
So im building a Warmoth guitar.
It has a offset V(RR style) shape made out of mahogany, Goncalo Alvez neck and ebony fingerboard.
Warmoth states that Goncalo is a warm wood.
22 frets. Wilkinson VS100 tremolo (2 points tremolo set to floating, not a locking tremolo) 6 strings.
So the combination of woods is not standard at all, I think people might only guess what would be better.
I want to be able to play all things Hard Rock and Heavy metal, but not so much downtuned stuff or 90s Pantera(and after) style music.
Black Sabbath, Ritchie Blackmoore,Malmsteem, Vai, early Metallica, Anthrax, Children of Bodom, Skid row, Rhapsody of Fire, Blind GUardian, Whitesnake, Iron Attack!! (

That is the most up to date list(you might find similar post around the internet about the same concern by me :P). I really like Iron Attack's tone, and Im guessing that it would be the one I'd say if I only could say one. But the other less gainy tones are important.
Face smashing rhythm tone that does not get muddy, and crisp, bright, smooth lead tone. That could be heard in instrumental metal that has instruments not traditional of metal.
Originaly I was setling for a Alternative 8 and Full Shred Neck from Seymour Duncan that I have been recommended in other places.
But I figured I can go for a BK set.
Altough Im wondering if it really worth it or Im just being carried by the fact that I want custom boutique things and can buy them:P.
The first BK set I looked at was the Nailbomb. It seems cool. But I saw a lot of recommendations to other people about the Holy Diver set about being super versatile and very good for 80s music. And then I saw some mixed sets.
What would you recommend...?
Sorry for my bad english
