Yeah I saw that on twitter earlier, Tom. I thought it was an amusing spoof and announced it as such across the office. One of my colleagues went "no, it's true, I used it last night to get rid of the bluddy thing ...."

hehe... yes, I am one of the twittery folks... #busted

Can't stand facebook, LOATHE it, but twitter seemed to make sense to me. Originally, I joined so that I could connect up with someone I hadn't seen for years and years (and to stalk someone else )

I even have FAMOUS people following me

EDIT: I don't own a "device" though, smart or otherwise - so I'm entirely desktop or laptop bound
