Why were you doing it for so long  :o The only one that ever used to take me that amount of time was the beastly morning rounds, especially on sunday. Even though my village is fairly small, the papers are bloody heavy in a trolley.

I'm just thinking about poor customer of Sam, imagine coming down in the morning and finding that Sambo has superglued himself to your window (or front door), I wouldn't wish to face that even without a hangover ;)

ONLY MESSIN BTW

rob...
Goodbye London !

So, I've just got my SG back from Jonathan at Feline the other day.  The missus and nipper are visiting her parents for a few days tomorrow, so I have the house to myself.  Perfect time to make some noise and break the plank in with some recording you would think?

But, no!  I've only gone and sliced up the pad of my left-hand middle finger whilst clearing out some junk in the garage.

If it's not healed up by Wednesday, I'm trying the superglue technique...

Sods law is pants! I bought a £1800 half stack valve amp last year and shut my middle finger in a hammond organ's flight case on the day I bought it. That was in July and the nail didn't grow back until October. I couldn't play properly for weeks.

Ouch.  Done similar in the past, and it's an experience I could well do without going through again.  Bloody painful.

OHH I had to do 2 trips which was annoying enough. Plus one house had a scary dog that...well...scared me.

Sorry Muttley - I just heard about your accident from Jonathan so I thought I'd post and reassure you that the wait will be worth it!

I just got my strat back from Feline and the thing is a monster!

Johnny.. now you're askin'...

Totally rewired with HQ pots and jack.... neck and middle pickups switched around to get back to hum cancelling in positions 2 & 4... new scratchplate to finish the cosmetics just how I like.. and wait for it..

Dunlop 6000 refret!  Not stainless steel like your Charvel but your mods gave me the idea..

Damn feels like glass!

I now have an amazing Strat - Uber Sinner + Birds eye maple abalone dots v taper back neck + 6000 frets.

Jonathan did an amazing job...

Nice one Dave! It sounds wicked and if Jonathon did the work I bet it's a beaut! Those frets don't half make a difference don't they!

I'm having a Trilogy put into the middle position of the RG570 to match the warpig plus a fret dress and setup...

Then the Vandy will be rewired (2 volumes instead of master volume and tone) and dressed plus maybe have a Miracle Man neck put in to pair with the bridge.

Its got a FRED at the moment which I think will move to my Les Paul.

Ohh goody...
