Hi there bareknucklers!
I just bought a new guitar and decided to replace the pickups and electronics.
When I'm not touching anything grounded there is a horrible noise, and when I do, the noise is gone. Exept for the noise, the pickups seem to work as intended.
I've used a multimeter to test the continuity; pickup covers, pickup cavity shielding, bridge, pots and switch has continuity to the sleeve and hot to the tip. The sleeve and tip has continuity when the volume pots are rolled off all the way.
I haven't shrunk all the heatshrink tubings yet and the "ground joint" isn't cramped on both sides yet, I'm doing that when everything is working.
The BKP production technician told me he doesn't get on well with copper shielding, I tried disconnecting the shield, and there was no difference.
Could someone help me identify where the issue lies?

Thanks in advance
