yeh i know, i though with the endorsement they would probably get better gear. and his reissue are $%&#ing expensive they cost around 10000aud to get from my local guitar shop

Re. the H&K debate, I think the band must be doing something right to get an endorsement like that, so with that in mind they deserve it.

The misfits, rites of spring, and minor threat are where it's at for me punk-rock wise.
Also Goldfinger, Millencolin, NOFX, Fenix TX, bands like that were pretty cool for me wen i was younger; thats what i listened to in my pre-teen years anyways.
These kids sound pretty good - i was expecting another busted clone...

I think the thing that really, more than anything, pisses me off, is the over-emphasised American Jock voice thing that you hear in your Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy bla bla bla

One of the bands local to where i live have tried to combat that by going for the over emphasised British accent - very refreshing actually to hear a band acknowledging the way they should talk  :P

thats what i loved so hard about Crackout. They were quite local to me actually; great simple driving punk rock, with GREAT tone (Framus stacks), and a good local accent. (RP, but slightly southern tinted). Music that reminds me of where i've grown up and where i live rocks! Great guys too :)
Another band, that really isn't so guitar-orientated is my ex-door-neighbour's band the Boy Least Likely To. Yeah i know they've been supporting James Blunt and yu all hate them, but i love that they remind me of... them - when i used to play with them as a youngstar. Nostalgia music, that i can relate to.
