I´m asking that about the NECK pickups Because someone said that the warpig and miracle man were the same pickup, minus the different Magnet.(again, for the NECK Slot)
so.. Do You Think the Bridge pickups always sound the same in the neck ? i mean, the pickup characteristics.
thats why i´m asking about then...
i ´m figuring out that my fender, has lots of mids.. because i installed the Duncan Custom 5 in my Charvel, and it lacked mids(It Is a scooped middles pickup), and when i installed it on my fender, it revived the mids .
so... if i´m planning to put a BKP pickup in my CHARVEL... It´s better to choose one with MIDS. cause i´m thinking the Charvel lacks mids.
Charvel has 24´75 short scale and floyd rose.
and the Fender is 25,5 scale, 21 frets.. and Vintage Tremolo bridge.
In theory, both have a Basswood body, but the fender has a blurred mapple Cap. and i´m not sure if the Charvel Fusion is Basswood or Poplar.
The Ibanez has Mahogany body, and i just swaped the original cr@p ibanez qm1 and qm2 pickups(ultra shrill and brighty.)
for Two Duncan Designed Hb103(kinda copy of Duncan Distortions)
and it got a thick sound , lack of highs...
those pickups were in my Schecter Avenger. now replaced with 2 emgs (81/85)
i now see that the schecter iw a Bright guitar too. a Middy/high guitar,
i guess it has a basswood body with A Satin Walnut Cap/finish.
i´m happy with the EMGS.
So, i´m also happy with the duncans, but i´ll change the Charvel pups to a bkp combo.
Trilogy neck(100% sure) and maybe a Nailbomb or a Painkiller. in last case.. the Warpig.
Also, the charvel has a good amount of Highs. beautiful highs.
any consideration and tips for these guitars? Ibanez and Charvel(the ones i plan to change pickups)?!!?
Hails and thank´s for the tips
