All you BLS fans should recognise this one.

The amp is Fender Hot Rod Deluxe hooked up to a Fender Bandmaster 2X12 Jensen speaker cabinet. The overdrive is a H&K Tube Factor on factor 2. The chorus in the intro is an old Ibanez CS-9. The guitar is a BC Rich Mockingbird Fire Breather with a Jackson neck and a Warpig in the bridge (basswood body, Maple neck, rosewood fretboard)

I recorded it with a Shure SM57 mic at the outer rom of one of the Jensen speakers, into a mixing desk with flat EQ. Recorded it on tape and recorded that on to the computer.

It's a simple song, just two chords in the main riff, 3 in the chorus. It will allow you to concentrate on the pickup's sound. Tuning is drop C

PS: if this violates any copyright laws or something, feel free to nuke this post.

Man, this is... HEAVY !!
The warpig is tight and shines under low tuning like no other PU!  :D

Amazing what can be done with a Fender amp , a hot pedal and a warpig!

Tanks guys. The amp and pedal settings are basicly what I always use. Sounds very different depending on the guitar I plug in.

I'm a dedicated rythm player actually, I'm not too good on solo's. I could have done some pentatonic bluesy thing but it would have ruined the song. Zakk Wylde solo's are way out of my league. :?

I'll see what I can do for the next clip. Too bad I don't have a multi track recorder. Maybe I should get that Zakk book. :?

They sound really good.

A mate of mine has just bought some WarPigs for his Indie LP, lucky git.

I have nowhere near enough cash for my BKP's yet :(

Been waiting for ages for a warpig clip... Sounds great! It'd be good to hear some warpig shredding though... Anyone?

I have got a warpig on my old jackson, but i don't use it much anymore, i could dust it off (lol) and record something, gotta get a microphone from somewere though.

Will prolly have to be after download now though.

Funny thing is, that Mockingbird of mine is actually a POS. It's not balanced, uncomfotable, neck's reasonable but not great. But I keep picking up the damn thing because it sounds so damn good. In standard tuning it does everything from punk to metal. It even does a good AC/DC in it's own saturated way. :D
