ha! well who knows, i might get rid of the neck pup and just get a tap fitted on the bridge one...you know what i figured out recently!??

play something on your neck pup with the tone all the way up... then if its liek a calibrated set or something... then if you play something on the bridge pup with the tone fairly down... it sounds almost identical...

so see- no need for two pups!

I WIN!

unless you want the sound of the neck with the tone all the way down

or if you want to change between them quickly

yer but the tone of the neck pup all the way down is useless pretty much!

and the quick changing is where the tap comes in... im sure you could somehow wire it to switch between those two sounds....

BUGGER YOU!

my point is, two pickups isnt NECESSARY... cause lets face it, most people ARENT after the paralell pickup sound...

ok so one pickup isnt gonna get everything i admit, and youve proven your point in that, but im pretty sure one can cover most stuff for msot people generally speaking
