my amp just stopped working?!

It turns back on? but theres no sound all the tubes are light up?

anyone any ideas.. no fuse blew or anything just went kinda "humph" then stopped making noise..

it's making a slight humming noise when it's turned on and vibrates slightly...

Have you checked the fuses?

The HT fuse may have decided to call it a day.

What colour are the power amp valves glowing?

It might be an idea to get it checked in to your local amp tech.

it was the HT fuse.. is that the one inside the chasis?

I had a load of marshall slo-blo fuses left what ever they are.

You should have 2 main fuses accessable from the rear panel of the amp, the mains fuse (a T2A on my Marshall), and a HT fuse (a T500mA on the Marshall).

Sounds like it might be an idea to book it in with the local amp tech.

If it was the HT fuse, that's usually a sign of a blown output valve or a dodgy valve base.
