Breedloves are good quality for the price, definitely. Many of them have this random pole in the middle of it that increases your bass output as well. Can't go wrong there...
The one thing you can do better for the price is look for an old guild, from '62 or whenever they started until about 1985. They aren't worth that much... should be able to pick up a nice one for no more than $600usd, but IMO they're a much better guitar and much better buy obviously than Martins or Taylors. My father owns four of them, so I get to play them all the time.... my favorite is a early 80s F50, kinda like a Gibson J200 but with better wood and a better fretjob (and it's heavier too but sounds a lot better than all the J200s I have played). The bridge is high, original height but it sounds so full and sustains forever, and his most recent addition to the collection is a G37 which is a dreadnaught shaped guitar with maple back and sides.... a smaller, lighter version of the F50.
