been listening to 'High Voltage' by ACDC a huge amount, and also some Robert Cray, BB King and Howlin' Wolf.

Its a Long Way to the Top ... the greatest track 1 on a debut album of all time?

*on the UK release that is :)

Do you run any awards ceremonies?
And the award for the best track one on a debut album (but only in the uk) goes to....

And here's david gest to present the award for the best mandolin accompaniment on an album with a dog on the front (africa only)
Feline Custom, Fender MIJ mustang bass
Orange rocker 30
VHII and Mississippi queen

And the awared for drunken posting after dinking all day at a cricket match goes to me, 1 run from glory ...

Deicide
Decapitated
Obituary
Mortician

haha listen to Mortician sometime, the vocals are not lyrics, just growls in lace of the lyrics. it makes me wonder if the guy is actually singing words or not!
but that's not a bad thing, it adds to the brutality!

Fraid not :)

Heard this track the other morning on the way back from work and it's been stuck in my head for 48 hours now http://www.lexrecords.com/Lesacvspip.htm

If nothing else its got the best title i have heard for ages "Thou Shalt Always Kill"

No guitars at all, just as catchy as hell with lyrics that suit what I'm feeling ATM.

Rob...

A fair bit of John Martyn booming out my speakers at home (mainly Glory Box and May you Never).

Anything that I'm banned from listening to when the missus is in
Advice worth what you just paid for it.
