For me its Isomnia.

But the Walk has got possibly the best tone I have ever heard from any high gain recording - Its just soooooo tight.

All bulb's soundclick stuff, he seems to put his MSN there aswell, which is a bit odd - I'm sure he's swamped.

yeah insomnia is probably my favourite guitarwise. i only managed to get the two mentioned with singing so i listened to those more so i could sing along.

yeah i visit bulbs myspace regularally, he's a machine. and everything he does just sounds amazing.

i agree about the walk. that is tone. i need a podxt. i think the drums help in making it sounds unbelivably tight being midi programmed and they sound soooo good aswell.

its such a breath of fresh air in that musical context. i hear so many bands whose guitars and drums and bass are awesome, but then the singer comes in and totally spoils it. its so hard to find a decent singer. i should know

I love it - He's got the whole Sikth clean voice thing going on, and some of the more interesting voices going on aswell, meanwhile the guitarists are playing meshuggah half the time, in songs like Inertia, and then Sikth in songs like Insomnia.

Its sooo fresh, and sounds SOOOOO tight.

But I just can't get over how good their guitars sound.

Yeah, and I've been wondering if some of the early Rush material (circa Caress Of Steel) had a bit of a Wishbone Ash influence, too.

It's funny, I was familiar with some WA stuff when I was a kid, I liked it but only had a couple of the albums.  But suddenly I've just connected with it in a big way - it's so melodic, even lightweight, but with tons of guitar.  And so British sounding!

I'm buying the albums like crazy.  Not sure if I'll bother with all the post Martin Turner/Laurie Wisefield stuff, though.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM
