Nofx - Punk in Drublic.

Still one of my favourite albums.
Mine, too.

I also love The Decline. Prog-punk??? PDT_008

Oh definitely, One of my life goals is to play the whole of the decline onstage before I die.
Hehe, I hope you mean one of your goals before you die, not to play the song and then die immediately following!! PDT_008   :)

Of course, but hell, what a song to end on!

I just ripped a CD off my girlfriend's dad's CD collection,

"Sounds of the 70s: Rock"

Just listened to some Blue Oyster Cult, 70s is a bit too far for me but it's all good still.
"Would you like some lemon oil?"
"Oh, no thanks, I don't eat fruit."

I've had The Decline on repeat for about 3 hours and that ending with the trombone gets better and better every time.

Brings back some damn good memories, as with most NOFX.

The horns, the chanting, the marching, and the way that the song builds based on the lyrical content (it's a definite leftist/cynical criticism of America/Americana) makes it a very powerful statement, regardless of how you view the song's political slant.

The lyrics in The Decline really are genius, it makes me sad because i know I'll never be able to do something as good as the Decline.
