It's the traditional Christmas viewing of Judas Priest Live Vengeance '82... :D

All the pressies are wrapped, fingers worn out from serious telecasting today, so time to lie back on the sofa and let the metal flow over me... (and for some reason this dvd always seems to go really well with our christmas decorations!)

For years I've had to have to watch it on a wearing video tape, but the missus got me the dvd a while back.
But, did you get the DVD for Christmas??!!!! PDT_008

Yep, last year :D

Exodus - The Atrocity Exhibition
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Greatest Hits

Plus stuff I'm trying to learn for a new band project...

Currently listening to the as yet unnamed Animals as Leaders album, which is basically a solo project for ex-Reflux guitarist Tosin Abasi, who has collaborated with (forum member) Misha Mansoor aka Bulb of Periphery. It's not being released till April, but there are tracks up on their myspace.
It's possibly the most unique and innovative guitar album I've heard. Everyone with a remote interest in metal, electronica, jazz.. hell, music, owes it to themselves to check it out.

Dude, explain to me why everyone likes Glassjaw! PLEASE, everyone I know loves them, and I feel like I should, but the guy's voice is soooo annoying!

I guess it's love or hate.. The Worship and Tribute album is tied to so many good memories for me.

Guthrie Govan - Erotic Cakes
Opeth - Watershed

Got them as presents (having to wait this long for Opeth has been agony but I didn't dare buy it for myself as it was on my gift list :))

Also, a slightly bizarre one:
Kiss - Alive III

No idea where the urge to listen to that came from  :? :)
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

AC/DC - Back in Black
Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet
Bruce Springsteen - Magic

Some kind people gave them to me for Christmas.
I think I hate being indecisive.
