Van Halen 2 - TOOOONNNEEE!!!!!! :)
And a whole lot of BAD guitar playing!!

Is that BAD in a BA Baracus, Superbad kind of way, Ben, or are you being really controversial?
I thought my opinions on EVH's rat arsed random noodling was well known on this forum ...

No, I've picked up the odd hint   but I didn't realise you felt so strongly!

Doesn't bother me, I like the albums (up to and including 5150) but EVH himself is such an arrogant, greedy, self-mythologising prick....
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Valient Thorr. If anyone hasn't heard this band you don't deserve to live.

Basically, everyone on this forum should love it.

Just had a listen (so now after 34 years I finally deserve to live, lol). Very good! Downloading commencing ... kind of reminds me of Rancid for some reason. The vocalist I think - has an Operation Ivy / Rancid air to it. With extra metal

It is the Rosetta stone :)
I like it because its one of those things in life that was almost too useful to be true ... if you read about it in a novel you'd think "God what a contrivance that is, that sort of thing would never happen ..."

Thumbs up for Rob Zombie too :)

ha, it does seem a bit unlikely, doesn't it?  it's like an episode of stargate where they went back in time and left something so they could understand what they'd found in the future!  hmm, maybe in the future someone will find a welsh/english bilingual sign and get the same result :)

I'm listening to Gentle Giant's first four albums, not because they my favourites but I don't have the later ones. All good stuff if you like slightly-too-clever-for-their-own-good proggy rock.

This is better music than anything else of this page. In fact, I'm going to put it on.

This feels so contrived it's untrue. Yuk yuk yuk.

Jonny Lang - Lie to Me and Wander this World

It's hard to realise that he was only 15 or 16 when Lie to me was recorded.  His voice is as gruff as Joe c--ker's!

Yeah, I do wish they'd stop putting these things on in the middle of no where  :(

I'm not gonna manage it, I saw Leccy Wizard in December and I'll see them at Hellfest but I'd awfully like to see Sleep. Gonna have to pass on Roadburn too, which also has an outrageous lineup, as it usually does.

I've also been listen to the spiky wizards Witchcult Today.
As well as Public Enemies it takes a nation..., Ephel Duath - Through my Dogs Eyes
And a cool tuba player called Tom Heasley.

I really like Deadlocks new album aswell, no-one seems to like it.

Right now im loving music.
