Ike & Tina Turner "Fool in Love"

Some Jamaican doo-wop and early Roy Buchanan.

Some old country songs about moonshine.

Jake E Lee period Ozzy. I seem to have unintentionally built a similar looking guitar to his charvel... wish i could play in an unintentionally similar way  ;)

edit: just looked at a zakk version of 'bark at the moon'... not as good as jake :)

edit 2: come to think of it i prefer Jake's interpretations of Randy and Sabbath numbers too

I think Jake is massively overlooked in the pantheon of OZZY guitarists... He just got on with the job and played & wrote superbly.

A monster talent. Not a pinched harmonic in sight!

I think Jake did loads of pinches live. You just didn't notice as whenever he did it, it fit the song.

Think I will put some on later, maybe the 'lets get crazy' live albums

Jake does throw in a few *tasteful* pinches.

After listening to the first five Ozzy solo albums this afternoon, I have trouble ranking them. But I reckon 'Ultimate Sin' probably ranks along side 'Diary of a Madman'... I do still like 'No Rest For The Wicked' alot though.

Its funny, but the similarities in Zakk, Randy and Jake are fairly strong. I guess Ozzy knows what he likes.

I agree, but I want to mention Brad Gillis too.  Talk Of The Devil's my favourite Ozzy album.

jake e lee's solo on bark at the moon is one of my favourite solos ever. Load of pinches in there, though.

Heaven and Hell - The Devil You Know. I had it turned up very loud on a drive up to Sainsburys.
