Hasn't the singer now walked out on them?

Yeah, his temporary replacement was great though, fit in perfectly and sang well, from what I could hear.

Alicia Keys - New York.

Listening to it tonight on the way back from band practice - I was just in one of those moods, I think that if I'd had the CD rather than just FM I would have put it on a loop.

Awesome song - so far removed from "my type of music", but just amazing...

Saw Heaven's Baesment last year, supporting Blackstone Cherry in the local fleapit. They were pretty good as I recall, couldn't see much of them though, because of the extremely low stage and me being exactly average height! Blackstone Cherry ruled that night though - so much energy, enthusiasm and audience engagement, not to mention awesome musicianship.

At the moment, I'm mostly listening to Taking Dawn -  a cracking new bunch of hard rockers from Vegas - and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KP1qHPnuDaU&feature=related , in eager anticipation of Black Rock coming out on March 22. Check out that solo!
Warpigs.

Wes Montgomery - not really the sort of stuff to get me fired up for a 6 mile run! It is lovely though.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Nice choice indeed Ian .   :)

You'll certainly run loose and energy efficient after that 'vibe'.  Ironically I find smooth Jazz to make weight lifting practice more effective than 'Black Label Society' ;  in that I tend to put technique and relaxed concentration before 'blood and guts' if in a chilled frame of mind.  It just seems easier to  feel the moves better when relaxed.

After all - that wonderfully  'Zen' guitar rig in your avatar, must say something about the quality of your runner's mind.  8)

I hope the run went well ; rub yourself down with a hot wife when you get home .

I ended up giving the run a miss.  I was listening to the Full House album and sat down just before "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" started. I was too relaxed to bother running after the first few bars  8). It's a great melody.

Now, where's that hot wife.
