Grace under pressure is the beginning of the slide into shiteee though. Great band. I love them and kudos for still going strong but I don't think they have made a decent album since Signals. You could put all the good stuff since then on one cd.

Totally disgree!  :P

The six albums from Signals to Roll the Bones, including the whole '80s "synth" period, aren't my favourites (Hold Your Fire was the low point for me, I think) but I still like them all.  Then (IMO) Counterparts was a massive return to form, and I've loved everything since.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

More Than Life are awesome, I've got that short album Aperture or something. Really like it.

Oh wow, I haven't heard it until JUST now. I love melodic hardcore bands so much.

EDIT: must get this EP NOW.

Turns out it's called Brave Enough To Fail, Aperture is the first track and it's great.

The new Black Stone Cherry! Very good!

Keep meaning to investigate that!  I really like their first album, but the second was a let-down.

Me too although I thought towards the end the first album gets a little tired sounding.
I think I hate being indecisive.

It's probably more in the vein of the second album, although the second song is really heavy and there a couple of songs more reminiscent of the first album. Overall I think this album has a more distinct southern rock touch.

They're a really good liveband too. For me Blackstone Cherry is very special, because my wife loves them, so going to their concerts is a no-brainer. It doesn't happen too often that we both like a band that much.

Val Doonican and Dana, make me want to rock my butt off.
Them two classic albums Dana live and Dangerous, and Val at Donnington. are the best of the genre.
The raw intensity of these two live performances make me just want to pick up my guitar and Rock the day away.

Gigan - "Order Of The False Eye".

Supremely underrated, supremely weird little album. Can't wait to hear the new one.
