Heard sound clips of this on Musiciansfriend.com and it sounds amazing!
Rave reviews about it, everyone loves it.

They're great pedals but they really need a great amp to work IMVHO. The original muffs are cheaper, and TRex do much better versions of the Metal Muff if you ask me.

Personally I think this is one for EHX collectors  :roll:

Keep saving for that amp  :wink:  BTW I tried the Rivera Chubster the otherday - bloody marvellous little combo for the money!  :P  drools  :P

I can already afford the amp. I just havn't bought it yet because i'm not completely sure on what to get.

Also this isn't an expensive pedal, i found it on Gak for £55.

Thats about a tenner less than the local shops here..  :D

Was indeed, and if I recollect they said there are better pedals out there but at cost.  :D

that's true, it's unlikely the £55 will buy you any meaningful increase in amp quality...

problem is, if you see three or four pedals around that price that you'd like...

+1 :D If you have a decent sounding and guitar and a buy decent amp for metal straight away, why would you need a distortion pedal?! (says the guy looking for an overdrive pedal :lol:)

Yeah but nobody has answered me to say if Ashdown is good for metal, it's the Ashdown or the Randall.

go searching on youtube and metcafe to see if theres any demo vids of them. I did that with some guitars and fx and its amazing what turns up  :D
